I think this might be a strange idea, although it certainly wouldn’t be the first time it’s happened.
After Matuesz Klich’s penalty miss for Leeds United on Saturday against Derby County, there were a number of fans who were wondering who should be the next penalty taker at Elland Road. One fan has come up with a rather bizarre idea on how to solve the issue, and it involves handing the responsibility over to goalkeeper Kiko Casilla.

Makes sense. He’s not far from their penalty spot on most occasions.

Said that. We *know* that the rest of them can't score, might be worth a try

It’s well known and well documented just how good Casilla is with his feet, however this might just be taking it to a whole new level with this idea. Now it’s impossible to tell whether or not these Leeds fans were being serious or not, but there has certainly been a history of goalkeepers who were useful at both ends.
For those of you who are too young to remember, Jose Luis Chilavert was well known for his goal-scoring ability and more recently Rogerio Ceni, so it’s not out of the realms of possibility that we could see it being done in the future.
