It would appear that we’re going to swerve trying to pursue Andy Yiadom and he will instead head off to Reading.
The right-back had been linked with our club for a while given our manager worked with him at Barnsley but it looks as though we made no real concerted effort to try and get him in.
With that said, then, it’s perhaps no surprise that he is now going elsewhere and it would seem that most of our fans are happy with that:

He was never wanted . Ayling and Coyle will be enough for RB .

He’s not needed. Ayling and Coyle are fine.

Good

Good move from Leeds. Too many times we’ve signed a player for the wrong position for the sake of it & ayling has the right back spot. If de bock isn’t the answer or Pearce then we need a left footed left back.

Bartley and Hernandez and 3 others of that quality and Leeds would have had an amazing window. No issue with us not going for this one.

He’ll regret that decision once he’s lived there for a couple of days!

RB about only position we don’t need someone

The Verdict
He’s a powerful and quick player but I don’t think he is worth a lot of the hype that has been around him at times.
When he’s faced us I’ve not been that impressed and I think we’ve got better options at the club already.
I’m happy with this, too.
