‘Good luck’, ‘no choice’: With key man down, these Leeds fans call on board to fix the problem

|

It’s bad, but not as bad as we thought.

It’s been known for a few days that Kemar Roofe was in trouble, having limped off during the club’s victory over Western Sydney Wanderers in Australia the other week, however, nobody was sure how bad it was going to be. Well now we know.

The club yesterday announced that Kemar Roofe had suffered a high ankle injury which is set to rule the 26-year-old out for four weeks. Whether that timeframe is until he’ll be ready to train again or be match fit we’ll have to wait and see. With the Championship season just around the corner, a few Leeds fans have started to get a little anxious about how the squad is shaping up.

Whilst some fans have taken the opportunity to take a shot at the club for not having enough players in reserve to deal with the problem and demanding that they spent the next few weeks searching for one in the transfer market.

There was one fan though who took an entirely different approach to the news. I mean he’s not wrong, but I don’t think that’s quite the tone we should be setting with this sort of news.
