According to Ger Lynch via his Youtube channel Leeds United – The View, Leeds United are monitoring the situation of the 25-year-old Manchester United defender.

Rumours surrounding Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s future at Manchester United have become prevalent in recent weeks after the right-back has struggled for any involvement at Old Trafford and after having only played 4 minutes of football this season, it may be time for him to look elsewhere. The out-of-favour defender could be available on a loan deal and could be a possible option for the Yorkshire club as coach Jesse Marsch looks to bring in some quality in the transfer window. However, any move for a right-sided defender would depend on the future of Luke Ayling and Cody Drameh, who have both been subjects of speculation themselves about a move away from Elland Road in January.

Leeds ideally need to be concentrating on a left-back and a striker before they even contemplate other positions, unless this is an indication that either of Drameh or Ayling is set to depart in the coming weeks. The Whites also have Denmark international Rasmus Kristensen, who has been the favoured right-back, for the most part, this season.

Ger Lynch said, “Leeds are interested in signing the Manchester United right-back, who is out of favour, to say the least at Manchester United right now having played only four minutes this year. The-25 year-old could be available to move on a loan move, and according to 90 minutes Leeds are monitoring the situation and are interested in bringing the player to Leeds.”

Premier League – Leeds United v Manchester United – Elland Road, Leeds, Britain – February 20, 2022, Leeds United’s Joe Gelhardt in action with Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

“Now this, for me is one of those out there rumours where again, another player, another right-back has been linked with Leeds, in an area where Leeds are overstocked on players. So for me, I don’t see this as being legitimate, I don’t see any truth in this, it’s the same as Chris Wood, I think this is a very busy agent trying to get his player a move and linking him to Leeds has been easy for a lot of clubs over the last couple of seasons.”

“He was excellent when he was at Crystal Palace, but having moved to Manchester United, another player Manchester United have taken in with huge promise and have absolutely destroyed. So, it’ll be interesting to see what happens there, clearly a player who wants to leave Manchester United and go somewhere else. I don’t see it happening with Leeds unless Cody Drameh leaves very early in the January window. Luke Ayling isn’t up to par with Kristensen in Jesse Marsch’s eyes, I think it’s an out-there story.”
