After what has been a rollercoaster season of epic proportions, Leeds United now has strange quietness about it.

The footballing highs and lows were all but over after the draw with Ipswich on the penultimate game of the season, but twists and turns went on for many weeks after.

The clubs future having been all but secured due to a piece of financial wheeling and dealing that Scrooge himself would have been proud of, finally brought an end to the craziest season any fan could endure.

The lull now has left time to reflect on what went wrong last season but also gives us the chance to look forward to next season. The Whites first season ever in the third tier of English football gives us an opportunity to visit many new grounds and make new allegiances (and enemies no doubt).

I for one have been galvanised by the last 10 seasons into enjoying the good and keeping faith during the bad. I learned a massive lesson too. It doesn’t matter what competition you are in. Once a White, always a White. Marching on together…
