Former West Bromwich Albion Academy graduate Kemar Roofe is a man who splits opinion at Elland Road.

The versatile player has often struggled with the way he’s been moved around the pitch, but when selected in those positions where he can affect the game, well his 14 goals in 39 appearances came in very handy for Leeds United in the season of 2017/18.

His form and goal return last season has seen various levels of transfer speculation this summer surround the 25-year-old, but some fans remain unconvinced. His performance against Southend United only strengthened some people’s view, as they don’t believe he’s a strong enough sort of player to hold the striker role and is better on the wings. Others think it’s time for us to cash in on him whilst his stock appears to be high amongst other clubs and we have reported interest.

As fans took to social media to react to the 1-1 draw at Roots Hall, thoughts were mixed and here are some of the best comments to show how polarised views are.
