Leeds United have announced that the clubs primary sponsor Enterprise Insurance Managing Director Andrew Flowers is part of the consortium buying a minimum 75% stake in the club.

Enterprise Insurance have been the clubs main sponsor for the past three-years and they only signed a new deal with the club for further three-years in September.

Flowers is a lifelong Leeds fan and part of the consortium Sport Capital, along with current Leeds Managing Director David Haigh as well as other unnamed investors.

Despite the Football League yet sanctioning the investment, Sport Capital have been putting funds into the club and have made funds available to manager Brian McDermott during the January transfer window.

You can read the investment update from the club on the official website .
