See, that’s how you beat a team that’s down to ten men.
Shame they couldn’t do that last year, but what are you going to do?
Leeds continued their unbeaten start to the season as they took care of business at the DW Stadium by beating Wigan Athletic ???.
Whilst the victory was somewhat routine, there were a few questions surrounding the team selection before the game. With Marcelo Bielsa only allowed to name five loan players in the eighteen, someome was bound to miss out, and today it was Jack Clarke. However that didn’t stop two other loan players grabbing the attention ahead of kickoff.
When will Bielsa start playing Costa and Eddie?? I feel if anything he needs to be starting before Bamford. Bielsa makes really late changes so they don’t really have enough time to create chances / score goals.

Whilst a red card for the opposition is usually seen as a positive, it wasn’t for Leeds fans after Joe Williams was shown his marching orders in the 21st minute.

But fears slowly melted away as Leeds scored the game’s opening goal less than 15 minutes later, although it’s fair to say, I don’t think they expected it to come from this man.
What has he done with bamford and can we keep him?

20 minutes into the second half though, and things were suddenly a lot calmer as Patrick Bamford once again got himself on the scoresheet.

That’s how things finished in the end as Leeds carried on their undefeated start to the season and moved to the top of the table.
Get in so happy to get this result against Wigan especially after last season
