First One Out – Ellis Parts Company

Leeds have parted company with assistant manager Sam Ellis by mutual consent after his contract at Elland Road expired.

Heads are expected to roll after the Whites failed to make it to the Premiership, and the former Lincoln boss is first out of the door.

He joined Leeds from Burnley in 2004.

Blackwell: ‘Sam has been with the club for two seasons and has been instrumental in helping build it back up from the ruins.

‘He has done a fantastic job and he leaves with our thanks.’
