The Whites failed in their pursuit to get Daniel James last night in what ended up being a rather chaotic Deadline Day.
Though we got the deal for Kiko Casilla over the line earlier on in the month, the Whites needed to add elsewhere on the pitch and James would have been an ideal arrival.
It fell through, though, and it seems clear that Swansea really did muck it up.
Whilst we were waiting for the news, though, Sam Dalby and Tom Pearce were allowed to leave the club on loan – to Morecambe and Scunthorpe respectively.
And, as that was announced, the reaction was fierce – though far from serious in some cases.
Let’s take a look at the somewhat ironic reaction from some whilst others wished the pair luck…

How can we loan out a couple of players in half an hour but have 31 days to bring one in and it's not long enough?

A good pair of moves for two bright players, then, and hopefully they can learn and build experience that will set them on the path to good careers.
