Leeds Word On The Tweet

‘Feel a little sorry’: Lots of Leeds fans disappointed with young man’s omission from squad

|

Leeds came into the game hoping to keep up their undefeated start to the season, and although it’s too early to start talking about ‘promotion’ and ‘edging closer’, it’s still nice to be at the top. It gives you a little cushion to work with going forward.

With Bielsa speaking in his press conference that he expected some rotating to be done due to injuries, there were a lot of curious people on Twitter waiting for the team to be announced.

So how did the Leeds fans react when they first saw the team news?

Well the most surprising element of the starting line-up proved to be the inclusion of captain Liam Cooper. Having been listed as a doubt by Bielsa, wither he was just tricking us or the injury wasn’t as server as was first expected.

Other than that, there was only one change to the team that beat Wigan on Saturday, and that was the inclusion of Ezgjan Alioski replacing Barry Douglas in defence. However there was one change that the fans were perhaps hoping to see, but sadly were left disappointed as young Jack Clarke.
