Following the arrival of former Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Helder Costa last summer, Leeds United fans always knew it was a loan to buy option with a fee reportedly in the region of the £14/15million mark.
Whilst the actual fee hasn’t been released this evening, the Official Site have now confirmed the permanent capture of the Portuguese international on a four year deal – which runs until the summer of 2024.
To date at Elland Road, the 26-year-old versatile midfielder has made 43 appearances for manager Marcelo Bielsa’s side, contributing four goals and three assists as we sit at the top of the Championship table.
Given the uptick in form from Manchester City winger Jack Harrison now he’s into his second year under our Argentine genius, plenty of fans have welcomed the confirmation and are hoping for a similar (significant) improvement from the last next year, now he knows exactly what to expect and what is wanted from him on the pitch.

The cosmic balance is £15m Costa £7m Harrison so £22m for those 2 doesn’t seem bad.
