A few Leeds United fans have been reacting on social media after LUFC Data shared that Jack Harrison created five chances to score in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Reading.
Harrison led the match for chances created, with no player for either side able to create a higher total than the Stoke-on-Trent-born winger who produced three in the first half and a further two after the break.
It was the joint-highest single-game total that the 23-year-old has achieved in the Championship so far this season, having previously created five chances to score during our 2-0 win away to Nottingham Forest earlier this month.
The former England U21 international has now created a team-high 68 chances over the 2019/20 second-tier season, six more than second-most Mateusz Klich (62) who created the second-most chances on Saturday with three.
Should the club purchase Harrison in the summer?
Yes
No
Only one of Harrison’s five key passes at home to Reading at the weekend was marked as a big chance by Sofa Score, who note that the Manchester City-owned winger – who we have an £8million option to sign in the summer – also took 72 touches, played 32 accurate passes (84%), made two accurate crosses (28.5%), was successful with one of four dribbles, won seven ground duels (43.7%), was fouled for times and lost possession 22 times.

He, Hernandez, Klich and Costa are piling pressure on Bamford. Whilst Pablo scored yesterday, they’re just not weighing in. Hopefully that’ll turn a corner now 👍💙💛

Create 5, goals nil, need a finisher

Created 5 chances?! RUBBISH. Chances, playing well, limiting teams to few shots – means NOTHING unless we win! Which we did 🤔. Not sure what my point was tbh.

He could create fifty, Bamford would still not finish any
