Some Leeds United fans have been reacting on social media after a clip of Kiko Casilla’s howler at Brentford was posted online.

Marcelo Bielsa’s Whites were forced to settle for a point at Griffin Park on Tuesday night after Casilla gifted the Bees an opening goal inside the 25th-minute.

Liam Cooper later made the most of a piece of poor goalkeeping from David Raya to equalise, while Helder Costa spurned a glorious chance to strike his first goal since December in the second-half to hand us the lead.

The first-team could have been playing much of the Championship encounter with far more confidence had it not been for Casilla’s latest blunder, which allowed Said Benrahma the chance to tap home into an empty net from yards out.

Cooper had played a gentle backpass to the former Real Madrid shot-stopper though Casilla horrifically misjudged the roll of the ball, allowing it to roll under his foot for Benrahma to pounce.

Will Bielsa ever drop Casilla on form?

Yes

No

Benrahma had already begun running toward Casilla when Cooper made his backpass to put the 33-year-old under pressure, and would not have believed his luck when the chance to score presented itself to him.

And he would not have been alone, as a clip of Casilla’s blunder has circulated on social media showing Stuart Dallas’ reaction.

Dallas can be seen putting his head into his hands in disbelief as the ball glides under Casilla’s foot and Benrahma is able to notch his ninth goal of the season.

It was Casilla’s fifth error that has led to a goal in the Championship this season, only Queens Park Rangers’ Joe Lumley (six) has committed more, per Sofa Score.
