According to Fabrizio Romano via Twitter, Barcelona have made further contact with Leeds for their winger Raphinha, and a fresh bid seems to have been placed following talks with the players agent, Deco.
The Barcelona proposal doesn’t satisfy the Whites request yet but it is still open on the players side. Leeds have an agreement with Chelsea for £60m and they intend on respecting it.

It is yet another twist in the deal which looked to be wrapped up just a few days ago. The Brazilian looked set for a switch to Chelsea after a bid, rumoured to be around £60m was accepted and the deal looked set to be finalised soon after personal terms were set to be agreed. Now it looks like Barcelona have sorted out their finances with a rumour of a mega money Television rights deal, set to be signed which could bring in much needed funds to be able to pursue transfers.
It seems they need to move fast to be able to tie up the deal, and it also looks like they will need to offer more than the bid that has been submitted by the London club. Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal were another possible destination, but if Barcelona have come back in, it will be interesting to see what will happen.
Raphinha has always stated he wanted to move to the Spanish giants, and his dream move could be reality after this latest twist to the saga. The talented winger has been very much sought after and he has numerous admirers in England and in Europe. He is an elite footballer, and deserves to be challenging for titles and Champions League trophies.
