In an interview with the Express, Leeds United’s former full-back Stephen Warnock has issued a warning to the side about the intensity we play at.

The Whites have come out of the traps firing on all cylinders this season and are top of the league without a loss.

Our performances have been breathtaking, too, and it is clear that we are going to take some stopping this year.

One thing that might be concerning us a bit is the team being able to keep up such performances this season, though, and it is something that Warnock shares.

He said:

“I think they started off very well. But then the way he wants to play is going to take its toll on the players.

“We’re just seeing now, even early on, when it has to be Saturday-Tuesday it’s very, very difficult to replicate that form with the size of the squad that they’ve got.”

Certainly, that is the one fear for us all because, otherwise, we look very good to get promoted this season.

Bielsa has seen it and done it all before, though, so that at least should give us some confidence that we’ll be okay.

Time, though, will surely tell as we head into the thick of things next weekend.
