Leeds United’s FA Cup third round clash with Queens Park Rangers has all too predictably been selected for television broadcast.

With the expected dull affair in January carrying one plus for fans, insofar as nobody expected the game to be anything but a Saturday 3pm kickoff at Loftus Road, that was a positive for many given how many matches have been pulled around in the fixture list to suit the armchair fan.

That sort of proved to be true as the game won’t be shown live on UK television, but the match has now been moved to a 2pm kickoff slot on Sunday January 6, having been selected for overseas broadcast instead.

Ticket details for the game are yet to be confirmed and our last trip to their ground back in December 2017 saw a Kemar Roofe hattrick give us victory in a 3-1 win.

Reacting to the broadcast news on social media, well, it’s fair to say there was an inevitability to the responses given television talk already in the campaign of 2018/19.
