Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Einarsson has left the club on a free transfer.

Einarsson made 25 appearances in a Leeds United shirt in a tad under 2 years at the club. Gylfi was set to return to the squad shortly after recovering from long-term injury, however it now appears he was not part of Dennis Wise’s plans and will be free to find a new club.

Vital Leeds United wishes Gylfi all the best in the future!
