A number of Leeds United squad players have done what is a traditional visit to children in hospital for a number of football clubs at this time of the year.
A number of the players visited Leeds General Infirmary and St James’s Hospital to give gifts to the long-term residents of the two hospitals, some of whom may be facing a Christmas away from home.
One youngster told the Yorkshire Evening Post: ‘It was great to meet the players, I’ve seen them playing in matches but I’ve never met them before.
‘I got a signed poster and some signed photographs and they were really nice. It was a good Christmas present.’
Good on you guys, a great deed for the children of the city!
