With plenty of speculation on the Leeds United rumour mill this last week that we had made slightly out of favour Southampton striker Che Adams our top target for January, we seem to have a few options and Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp was a hugely interesting one for me.
Adams is the player Bielsa wants. He was given a list, did his analysis and picked him out. But if Hasenhuttl isn't budging, it's got very little chance.

With Southampton not budging and the window drawing to a close, we need to move on quickly and although the latest claims are that we have cooled our interest in Sharp (given how long that speculation has been around), although some wouldn’t warm to him undoubtedly, his record in the second tier speaks for itself and I think we could do far worse than bring in someone of his experience, if a deal could be done.
The Premier League again seems a step too far for the 33-year-old, but in terms of finances it has to be a no brainer to me, certainly when compared to the likes of Watford’s Andre Gray and our long standing links with Newcastle’s Dwight Gayle.
