Does this deal have typical Leeds written all over it?

I’m sure I wasn’t the only one happy to see Caleb Ekuban go at the end of the transfer window with him loaned out to Turkey.

A likeable player, the striker never really performed well enough for us on the pitch and his finishing was pretty shoddy to say the least.

Certainly, few of us wanted to keep him and yet he’s scored his first goal for Trabzonspor already in a debut win over Galatasaray.

Of course, there’s not many of us that would have expected that and you do wonder whether or not this could prove a typical Leeds deal.

We let him go on loan and he excels before either losing him permanently or bringing him back where he again flops.

Personally, even if he does well I don’t think we’ll keep him on but it does just make you wonder what if.

I guess the coming weeks and months will reveal all.
