It’s been an awful season, let’s be honest, but at least we’re one game away from the league finishing for the year.
Maybe we’ll beat QPR, maybe we won’t, quite frankly who cares as long as we don’t suddenly have to extend the season for whatever reason.
Clearly, the feeling about the club is not good at the moment and, personally, I think we’ll see some radical changes in the summer.
Whilst we wait to see if that happens, though, Phil Hay has released his season review on Twitter:
Final #lufc column of the season is a review of the season. What a blast it’s been:https://t.co/0ID4K3OCBJ

It doesn’t exactly make for positive reading, then, so let’s take a look at the reaction from our fans:
I’d argue flop of the season is the manager!

Absolute GARBAGE!

Disappointing season doesn't come close Phil. The squad isn't nearly good enough but I still think should be better than 14 https://t.co/FSAjm9Bm7y the league.Manager and half the team need replacing over the summer for starters.QUALITY is what is needed.

Nicely written Phil. Particularly enjoy this bit: "Lasogga’s movement can make him resemble a piece of Ikea furniture" 😂 I remember the friendly at North Ferriby. We were so full of hope and optimism. We still had Chris Wood… Seems so long ago now 😭

The Verdict
How do you sum a campaign up like the one we’ve had?
Truthfully, it’s been a real kick in the teeth after last year’s promise.
We’ve got some decent players, let’s not forget, but we’ve also got a lot of dross and that needs to be sorted as soon as possible.
