In his recent meeting with the media, Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa also addressed questions about potential January transfer moves given our current injury list.
Our gaffer didn’t really reveal anything that fans weren’t already aware of, as although he was open to some strengthening this month, he remained insistent that anybody new coming in through the Elland Road doors had to be an improvement on what we already had, but he also categorically stated that with with the injury situation expected to improve in the coming weeks as players return to fitness and contention, that would naturally solve our issues with numbers.
Fans would’ve undoubtedly offered up the goalkeeping position as well as cover in the heart of defence as necessary areas, regardless of an emptying medical room.
???? | Marcelo on his priorities: "First I'll see what possibilities the club have bringing players in, and if they are better than the players we have. I can't ignore the fact that we have lost many players, but we can adapt to the situation. We can solve these difficulties."

???? | "We are lacking ten players. If the club can bring players, it will only be if they are better. In the next few weeks, we will have Dallas, Berardi, Phillips, Brown, Bamford, and Douglas with us. That's why I say, if no one comes, we will solve the problem anyway."

Fans reacting to his interview on social media had their own take on his choice of words, but to me he’s just remaining pragmatic in his usual way and possibly sending a subtle message to the Board in the process as nobody could’ve expected the injury luck we’ve had so far this season.

Irresponsible of the club to put him in that position. Give the man the players to do the job – it’s not asking for the world.

I see it both ways he’s confident with the squad we have when all fully fit but on the flip side he’s not predicted the amount of injuries we currently have

Yes they may well be back but for how long and how many will also be injured in the time they return. It’s time for Radrizzani to back the manager and bring in 3 or 4 proven players.

Top of the league. Great . But looking fragile ATM. Go for it and get some players in. The disappointment will crush us if this season fails .

By logic that means even when they're back he thinks we still need four.Interesting my dear Watson. ????????????
