Leeds United secured three important points at the weekend after travelling across Yorkshire to beat Sheffield United at Bramall Lane, maintaining their charge near the top of the Championship.
Pablo Hernandez scored the only goal of the game inside the final 10 minutes to ensure Leeds took all three points away from their fellow promotion-chasers, extending their recent record to three consecutive victories since November’s international break.
The hard-fought result did not please everyone though as Blades boss Chris Wilder claimed after the match that his side deserved more from the game, suggesting the result was unjust and not a fair reflection on the match.
However, many Leeds fans on social media disagreed entirely and pointed out specific incidents in the game where they feel they should have had a penalty or seen a member of their opposition dismissed, neither of which happened.
We have gathered some of the reactions below.
He told Sky they dominated the game..Think he should lay off the drink during the game.😂

Oops he forgot that. Wilder has an inferiority complex about Leeds as a city, rightly so as Sheffield is a dump stuck in the 70's. Must be a South Yorks thing as Heck was the same. Wilder's a jovial bloke when they win & a nasty piece of work when they don't. Same as Warnock!!

Wouldn’t call it unfair. Tight game and could have seen a tight win either way.

Neither side did enough to win imo, but they should have had 3 players sent off, mcgoldrick straight red, stevens and baldock at least 2 yellow card tackles each, all bottled by the ref, so perhaps you were lucky to be able to compete still Wilder

What a bloody laugh, not a red card shown, if it had been the other way round we would be playing with nine men, the man’s a joker, we are the better team, get over it!

Bit unjust that they finished with 11 men but hey ho
