When Filipe Da Costa joined Leeds United, he arrived with such promise.
However after just 7 appearances the supposedly tricky winger has had his contracted terminated by mutual consent and he is now free to find a new club.
The comment from the club on their official website read:
Filipe Da Costa has left Leeds United having had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
We wish him every success in the future. He and his young family return to Portugal with our best regards.”
It isn’t too difficult to work out that the early promise shown even before the transfer has failed to materialise, and a sending off in the players’ full Leeds United debut will have done the man from Portugal no favours.
