Leeds United striker Richard Cresswell is set to rejoin first team training at the club after recovering from complications as a result of knee surgery.

Since the double surgery, Cresswell has tried to return and it soon became clear that he had tried to come back too soon. Leeds boss Dennis Wise has said that he will be brought back into things gently:

‘We’ll bring him in slowly. He is really keen, but I said to him: ‘This is about you and not the team. You need to get it right’.

Nice to know someone has their head screwed on. The return of Cresswell would be seen as a boost, any striker at the moment will be useful. Since joining from Preston in 2005, Cresswell has scored 6 goals in 23 appearances for Leeds.
