Thomas Christiansen joked after the game that he is in contact with new striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga`s partner who is expecting their first child any time now.
Lasogga, who arrived from German Bundesliga side SV Hamburg on transfer deadline day, enjoyed a dream debut at Elland Road as he opened and finished the scoring in their 5-0 demolition of Burton Albion.
The German strikers partner is expecting their first baby at any time and she is still in Germany preparing for the birth and with Leeds back in Championship action on Tuesday night when they welcome Birmingham City to Elland Road, Christiansen joked about the situation.
“I have to have a direct line with his wife to tell her not to have it until Tuesday night,” Christiansen told The Yorkshire Evening Post.
The 25-year-old is with Leeds until the end of the season from SV Hamburg.
