On loan Leeds United striker, Eddie Nketiah, had both the Elland Road faithful, as well as fans of his parent club Arsenal, roaring in delight given his performance on Tuesday evening for England’s Under 21 side.
Although some outlets have only credited him with a brace on the night, with his third being tagged as an own goal, Nketiah was certainly claiming the hattrick (as well he should) following the full time whistle and when the 20-year-old took to social media to celebrate the win and give a brief comment about how it felt to grab three in what was a 5-1 victory on the night, the reaction from both sets of fans was pretty obvious really.
Top performance from the boys tonight! Unreal feeling to score a hat-trick for @England 📞⚽⚽⚽ #YoungLions pic.twitter.com/NaQHEyNBJE

Following the game, Nketiah also spoke about how he backed himself to bang in the goals from the first minute during his loan spell with us and how he could never be satisfied with a position on the bench, plenty hoped his chance would come in the Championship this weekend as real football returns and we host Birmingham City this coming Saturday.
Born to score goals
