According to the Sun’s live blog today (10:00) West Brom are apparently weighing up a late move for Leeds United ace Luke Ayling.

The defender started the season in fine form for the club as we brushed aside Stoke City last weekend.

Certainly, we look more than capable of challenging the best in the league at the moment but we need to keep our best players and Ayling is certainly one of those.

He bombs up and down that right-hand side and with little options in terms of back-up I can’t see us accepting any bid from the Baggies.

Indeed, they’ve not been very good this season anyway and so I think it is clear that he’d rather be here than move there – even though they have his mate Kyle Bartley now.

Personally, it’ll be good when this window ends now, because some of the rumours are starting to get a little bit fanciful.
