Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino has completed the sale of Italian side Cagliari.
Cellino has sold the Serie A club to The Floursid Group, a chemical firm run by the family of former Inter Milan exec Tommaso Giulini.
The new Leeds owner is believed to have sold the club for a figure in the region of £35m and it brings to an end his 22-year tenure as owner of Cagliari.
Cellino is now expected to return to Leeds following the completion of the sale and he is now looking to sort out the vacant coach position as well as bringing in new players ahead of next season.
Speaking in the Yorkshire Evening Post , Cellino said, “I`ve closed the deal on Cagliari and now I`m coming back to Leeds to pick a coach and finish the team for next season.
“Cagliari were my love and my dream but I don`t look back, only forward. I`ve sold them to people who will look after the club, I`m sure about that.
“Now I can give all of myself to Leeds. People question me and my decisions but I know what I`m doing. I`ll show everyone that.”
