Leeds United went from looking down on the division to being mired in a four-way battle in the space of four days, and loads of Whites fans have been reacting on social media to the latest contender staking their claim.
Had Queens Park Rangers not progressed in the FA Cup and we had our originally scheduled trip to London at the weekend, Marcelo Bielsa’s men could still be sat at the top of the table with a one-point advantage over Norwich, but we are two-points behind instead.
Steve McClaren’s side slipping to a late defeat last night to West Bromwich Albion did our hopes of taking the Championship title no favours either, as now the Baggies are staking their claim to the thrown in fourth place.
The late drama meant Darren Moore’s outfit were able to continue their fine run of form that only Bristol City and Preston North End can better, and will head into the weekend brimming with confidence that they can continue their march back towards the top spot.
Anything but a Leeds win against Bolton will put a greater emphasis on our trip to QPR and then the Friday night clash with the Baggies, where Bielsa will either find himself fighting for automatic promotion or hoping that Bristol City were able to do him a favour and beat Norwich.
For a lot of the fanbase, though, they know that Leeds have to deliver first before hoping results elsewhere fall in our favour…
Your still below Leeds and we have a game in hand????

It’s still in our hands and up to us to win our games and go up. Can’t do that, can’t go up

Its a very simple equation…. Leeds win all their games we win the league. Its in our hands. Time for glassware to be half full. We play great football with the best manager in the world in charge. We are going to do this. I know it. In Bielsa we trust #Mot

Don’t care ,no one will give us an inch and we won’t ask for one,it’s still in our own hands, well do it the Leeds way #mot #alaw

The one thing certain is that either WBA or Sheff U will drop points on saturday. Only thing to do is to win our games. Bolton should be a win anything else is not good enough #lufc
