Leeds manager Kevin Blackwell wants to see his players to get hold of games and run them at a Leeds pace.

United struggled under the weight of expectation last season, and the gaffa doesn’t want to see it happen again.

Blackwell: ‘We sometimes rush passes in the eagerness to get the ball forward, but sometimes we can take an extra pass.

‘But it’s just the enthusiasm of the players here to try and please the fans. I’m saying to them, ‘that will come, you’ll please the fans by winning games’. But their honesty and endeavour are never in question.’
