“Bye Jack, Enjoy Oblivion” – These Leeds Fans See The Humour As A Claim Is Made About This Man’s Price Tag

|

Leeds United fans had high hopes for Manchester City loanee Jack Harrison when we brought him into Elland Road last summer for a season long loan spell.

The 22-year-old had a mixed season in reality, consistency was an issue (always the way with youngsters) but manager Marcelo Bielsa called on him 34 times in the Championship campaign and with five additional showings from the bench, he chipped in with four goals and three assists.

Plenty of fans weren’t won over by him though and when the Sun recently claimed that his parent club would make him available this summer for the princely sum of £20million, not only did plenty take to social media to laugh at us stumping up that kind of fee on one player, plenty of others found the valuation hysterical given the performances we actually saw from him.

Never going to happen is it, certainly not at that price. But it’s the transfer window, we can expect that kind of nonsense.
