Leeds are back at the top of the Championship after thrashing Reading 3-0 at the Madejski Stadium and one man’s efforts particularly stood out to a load of Whites supporters.
We may have only moved ahead of Norwich as they play on Wednesday night, but the three points on the road kept some distance between ourselves and Sheffield United ahead of their crunch visit to Elland Road on Saturday.
To get past Reading on Tuesday, though, Marcelo Bielsa once again turned to an unchanged XI with Spanish sensation Pablo Hernandez starting out on the right flank.
From there, the 33-year-old was able to torment the Royals back line, as he recorded the joint-most successful dribbles – tied with Andy Yiadom with three – and enjoyed more of the ball than anyone else.
He certainly put his possession to good use, as he drilled a low effort into the bottom corner before blasting home a tremendous strike from the edge of the box to secure the win.
Hernandez has now moved to within four of top-goalscorer Kemar Roofe, while the 26-year-old continues his recovery from knee ligament damage, and the Elland Road faithful had nothing but praise for 5 foot 6 wizard’s display at Reading…

All hail King Pablo! Anyone who says he isn’t the best player in this league was dropped on their head as a kid. The man is a wizard.
