With Leeds United celebrating their 99th birthday on Wednesday this week, a number of former players and local celebrity fans came out in force to send messages to the Elland Road faithful as we marked the occasion and the milestone.
She’s a good looking club for her age, isn’t she! Or he, depending on which way you swing in 2018!
💬 | "The club has been a massive part of my life" How many of your favourite #MyLeeds100 memories involved this man? 🙌 @JamesMilner pic.twitter.com/DDe09Wl1Su

Lucas Radebe’s Tweet in to help celebrate events was clearly warmly welcomed, but James Milner’s interview simply re-sparked the calls to bring him home and hopefully, have him turning out back in our shirt in the Premier League in the season of 2019/20 as we celebrate the big 100.
That would be a handsome birthday present, aye? ????

One of the best professionals the game has. Leeds produced not only a world class talent, But a world class attitude to match.

It’s not the first round of calls for the 32-year-old to return to where he first became a star, it’s a pretty common theme this season in particular, given our start to the year and the way hopes and ambitions have risen under manager Marcelo Bielsa.
More interviews like this and more opportunities to reminisce and think to the future will only grow the speculation – but that may not be a bad thing.
