Whilst Izzy Brown’s comeback for Leeds United’s Under 23 side against Crewe Alexandra may have taken most of the headlines, it was another strong performance by Carlos Corberan’s side and youngster Kun Temenuzhkov impressed again with his performance.
The 18-year-old made his senior bow for the first team as an eleven minute substitute in our FA Cup loss to Queens Park Rangers earlier this month, but he was back to familiar surroundings on Monday as he put in a solid showing with Brown getting the brace on the day to give us a 2-0 victory.
Great performance of the team and top of the league.💛💙 pic.twitter.com/meoAecwcW6

With fans already being impressed with him at that level and his brief cameo for manager Marcelo Bielsa, when the Bulgarian youth international took to social media to following the match, he was always going to come in for some praise.

With Patrick Bamford still coming back to full fitness following his own injury issues, it’s understandable as to why plenty feel he should come into the mix as cover for Bielsa – but his QPR run out was probably a demonstration that our gaffer is well aware of him.
