Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell must now pick his team up in pursuit of promotion – but he is confident they will prove up to the task.
‘Maybe it (the defeat) is a blessing in disguise. We have big fish to fry this year – let’s go for it,’ he said.
‘You have to have big commitment, and the lads showed that tonight. I think that will stand us in good stead for the rest of the season.
‘They have come back so many times this year. It is disappointing for the boys that it should end like that – but that’s football.
‘I thought my players were magnificent tonight, and I am really proud of them.’
