Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell has already given praise to Sheffield United for gaining promotion, and perhaps we travel to Sheffield at the right time for a favour.

Blackwell’s biggest concern at present is a virus which seems to be working its way through the first-team squad.

It has so far affected skipper Paul Butler, Gary Kelly, Danny Graham and Gylfi Einarsson, while Robbie Blake came down with it over the weekend.

Blackwell also has concerns over the availability of Sean Gregan (rib) and Frazer Richardson (knee) after both were forced to sit out Saturday’s draw.

Steve Stone (Achilles) and Richard Cresswell (knee) are both making steady progress, although the game at Bramall Lane is expected to come too soon for their return.
