Forget Preston’s win at Deepdale at the weekend, Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell has admitted that Preston have another advantage.

Blackwell says that Preston’s previous experience in the end of season play-offs gives them the edge.

Preston have been in involved in the end of season lottery on six previous occasions but Leeds have only been involved once and that was way back in 1987 when they went out to Charlton in a final replay held at St Andrews Birmingham.

Blackwell said: ‘You learn a lot about it and Preston may find it a slight advantage because they’ve been here before.

‘It’s all down to two games now. Friday should be a cracking game and we have a great chance.’
