Blackwell Pipped For Honour

Kevin Blackwell has been beaten to February’s Championship manager of the month award by Watford’s Adrian Boothroyd.

Despite the Leeds boss getting the better of Boothroyd on Valentine’s Day when the Whites beat Watford, the former Leeds coach steered the Hornets to four out of a possible five wins.

Fourth-placed United remained unbeaten last month and recorded wins over Watford, Luton and QPR to boost their promotion chances.
