Following Ian Bennetts departure to Sheffield United, Manager Kevin Blackwell was speaking to leedsunited.com, commenting that the deal was good for all concerned.
The Leeds boss said ‘Benno was in his final year and this is a great opportunity for him.
‘He’s a smashing lad and it might be his last chance to play in the Premiership, We paid nothing for him and got money back so we’ve made a 100 per cent return.
‘It’s a proper deal all round.’
