With plenty of Leeds United fans turning against Eunan O’Kane and his performance levels in midfield in recent times, plenty were hoping he’d secure a permanent move away from the club during the transfer window but we got a bite from Luton Town for a loan deal and he departed on that basis.
With a fine start to life in the 2018/19 campaign under new manager Marcelo Bielsa, O’Kane, even at his best, certainly hasn’t been missed as we took four wins from six to sit joint top of the table with Middlesbrough as we go into September’s first international break of the year. With plenty feeling his time at Elland Road is up he seems to have started life at Kenilworth Road in good fashion and that should only help grease the wheels of a possible permanent deal down the line if he can maintain it.
The 28-year-old made his debut for them last weekend as they took a point from Wycombe Wanderers, and he had a decent impact as a second-half substitute as he starts winning their fans over.
This Eunan O'Kane fella's a bit useful, isn't he? Don't worry, Leeds United, we'll look after him while he's here.

Luton much better after penalty save and deserved a draw in the end. Jones sorted out midfielder. O'Kane has to start next week. Wycombe tired but v good first half #hatters #wycombe @BBC3CR

I've not been this confident since I said Stuart Moore was a good signing based on what he did for me on an old FM game

Great save from Allsop to deny Lee after a wonderful through-ball from loan man O’Kane, who has been quality since coming on.

Hylton is understandble, Justin I don't know why as he was thrown under the bus by playing in cm. O'kane is very good when he came on.

@BBC3CR when we start playing with some width we are a different team. Tore Wycombe to pieces second half. O’kane looks very good too. Great set pieces and composure ????????????????????????????????

Need to get that loan extended to a full season. He was different biscuit.

O'Kane looked great when he came on. Got in all the right areas and looked dangerous, the opposite of Shinnie

Played really well that second half. Should’ve won the game. O’kane is a baller.

That’ll do, sounds like O’Kane’s going to be a good player for us ???? #COYH

Only one game but a positive start from him nonetheless.
