Marcelo Bielsa’s time at Leeds United has certainly been an entertaining one, from the whole ‘Spygate’ scandal, to his bucket he has on the touchline during games, and I suppose the play on the pitch has been pretty good too. However, this latest move might set back his status amongst some fans.
Defender Paudie O’Connor has sealed a transfer to Yorkshire rivals Bradford City, although it’s not the club he’s playing for that has raised question marks among Leeds supporters, but rather the fact that he’s moved permanently rather than just on loan.
“LUFC defender Paudie O’Connor has today joined Sky Bet League Two side Bradford City…”
oh that’ll be a decent loan for everyone, should offer a good opportunity for him to develop

Bit surprised we’ve let him go permanently

Bit shocked it’s a permanent transfer. Looked fantastic in the little games he played and club seemed to rate him highly last summer. Good luck @Paudie97

O’Connor is seen as a promising youngster with some Leeds fans, with him earning plenty of plaudits for his performance on his debut against Sunderland. So the fact the club are willing to let go a player held in such high regard by the Elland Road faithful has raised some eyebrows amongst the fans.
Bit disappointed with this. Should be getting rid of Anita, de Bock and the like…not promising youngsters.

They took to Twitter to voice their confusion over the situation, whilst most were quick to point out that this was a bad move by the club, two fan took it to a whole new level by calling it pointless because they will see little to any money over the transfer.
Strange move all round imo

If any moneys exchanged hands we won’t see it spent on anyone

What we gunna spend the £5 on that we’ve got from this transfer?

He should have been playing for us or at least a back up. Way too good for League 2
