Birmingham V Leeds OFF!

Leeds fans should be aware that the game between Leeds United and Birmingham City at St.Andrews has been called off.

A recently re-laid pitch, coupled with the current awful weather has seen the game postponed. Nicklas Bendtner went over on his ankle after catching a divot which proved how awful the pitch was. Apparently this is the backup pitch for Wembley. Which confuses me, how can it have a backup pitch in Birmingham?

The Football League will now investigate what on earths going on. In this day and age of technology should we not be getting on with things. Or has football below the Premiership now become a victim to the over-paid wimps that plague the top league in our nation?

Birmingham City director Karen Brady had this to say:

‘Absolutely nothing more could have been done in terms of manpower, machinery and equipment to try and get this game on following the freak weather Tuesday into Wednesday.’

Which translated means:

‘blah blah blah, naff excuse blah!’

A new date will be scheduled shortly, and all tickets for tomorrow`s game will be considered valid for the re-arranged fixture.

The following is a club political statement from Vital Leeds to the Football League.

Give us the 3 points…PLEASE?!
