“Big Future” – Leeds Favourite Has High Hopes For Talented Youngster

|

Leeds United midfielder Mats Klich certainly made himself a crowd favourite with his performances at Elland Road last season following the arrival of manager Marcelo Bielsa and plenty were delighted when news that he’d signed his new long term contract came through.

Although the popular 29-year-old has had a bit of a mixed season when it comes to his productivity this year, he continues to play his ‘part mentor’ role with Polish compatriot Mats Bogusz and having previously lavished high praise on the 18-year-old and joked that he ‘can’t give him’ much advice because he’s going to become a better player than he is, Bogusz as a topic came up again at the recent fans Q&A, and he again tipped the youngster for a big future ahead of him in the game.

Quoted by Leeds Live from the event, he explained.

“Big future. I told him already that he’s lucky that he got here at such a young age because he really has a lot of talent, he’s a very humble guy and he wants to learn. He’s a good player so I think he’s going to have a good future.”

With Bogusz featuring for Bielsa in pre-season and then making his senior bow earlier in the season against Stoke City, it can only be a matter of time before we see more of him given how often he features on the bench.
