Yesterday afternoon we were handed the blow that Kemar Roofe is to miss the game with Derby this week and that is obviously far from ideal.

The striker finally looked back to his best at the weekend with him scoring a sharp goal against the Rams to give us the onus going into the second-leg at Elland Road this week.

He’s missing, though, and Marcelo Bielsa is set to return to Patrick Bamford up top for this one.

Let’s hope, then, that this stubbornness does not cost us.

We’ve a few missing so options are limited but with Bamford’s struggles of late you do wonder whether Ryan Edmondson should be given the chance to shine.

Yes, it would be a big ask in such an important game but he’s a confident boy and the youngsters have shown they relish the chance.

It’s a big moment for Bamford, let’s hope he can remind us of what he’s about.

    • Well what can you say it was a terrible night for the team. The goal of Coopers was not his fault. The keeper not letting the defenders do there job. As for the team it really does need a out an out striker, Bamford is good but not good enough. There’s no blame on the manager he had done a fabulous job from June and I hope he stays
