Both Jay-Roy Grot and Caleb Ekuban look set to be shown the way out of the club this summer according to Phil Hay.

Marcelo Bielsa is now working with the lads and will surely have an idea already of who is good enough and who simply isn’t.

Certainly, we’re expecting him to be ruthless and it looks as though the forward pair are going to feel the full force of that:

One way or another they look set to leave this summer, then, and it remains to be seen just who exactly is going to be willing to take a punt on either.

The Verdict

Of the two I’d maybe give Grot a bit of a longer chance as he is very young and has some potential – albeit well hidden right now.

Ekuban is a lost cause, though, and couldn’t finish his dinner so I’m not fussed if someone is willing to take him away.
