As per the Manchester Evening News, Marcelo Bielsa and Pep Guardiola’s relationship is the reason that Jack Harrison has joined the club this summer.
The winger joined City from the MLS where he attracted praise from the likes of Frank Lampard and David Villa.
Certainly, there seems to be something about the young lad and it is clear that Pep wants him to learn his style of football under the man who taught him so much – our manager.
When Bielsa arrived we were expecting him to have an impact in terms of the players we’d be able to sign and, clearly, that is starting to ring true.
The Verdict
I have a good feeling that Harrison is going to be one of the shrewdest signings of the summer.
Bielsa is profiting from his relationship from Pep and it’s hard to see any other side being able to bring in players from City that Guardiola wants to see adopt his style of play.
