Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has moved to temper expectations that his connections will allow us to sign more players this window.

The loan window has two weeks left before shutting at the end of the month and it seems clear that we need to add to our squad in that time.

The Argentine has signed Jack Harrison from Manchester City, too, but has said that he won’t use his connections with Pep Guardiola or Mauricio Pochettino to loan players in for the sake of it.

This comes via Phil Hay:

Of course, we’d certainly like him to do that but he is a man of integrity and he perhaps feel as though it could give him an unfair advantage.

At the same time, there is other good players at the club already that could be promoted and ones at different clubs to look at so let’s see what he has planned before the window shuts.
