With Leeds United’s preparations almost done for tonight’s Championship clash with Hull City at Elland Road, plenty of fans will be hoping for a similar performance to the weekend’s derby clash with Huddersfield Town…not least another absolute corker like Ezgjan Alioski’s second half opening goal.
If there was one complaint from the John Smith’s Stadium, it can only have been that the margin of victory wasn’t slightly higher, but that’s typical Leeds under manager Marcelo Bielsa really. Alioski’s 50th minute effort from the corner though can’t be quibbled at.
Boring, isn't it, just scoring goals from corners all the time.pic.twitter.com/3jc61K3aCO

It definitely lifted the travelling fans further and was the least we deserved as we battled on for all three points and bragging rights, and Leeds certainly seemed to have developed the knack of just doing enough this year as we gun for Premier League promotion once again.
Reaction to his effort on social media was pretty predictable, but the 27-year-old Macedonian international continues to impress in the left back spot and that’s his third goal of the second tier campaign so far.
😁😁😁
